Who we are
Wallai provides AI consulting and implementation for businesses. "Wallai", "I", and "we" in this policy mean Inpharmativ Consulting Inc., operating as Wallai. The person accountable for privacy is Steve Walters: steve@wallai.ca.
What this website collects
- Booking details. When you book a call, TidyCal (our scheduling provider) collects your name, email, and anything you type into the booking form, and shares it with us so we can run the call.
- Email. If you email steve@wallai.ca, we keep the correspondence to reply and follow up.
- Starter Stack guide requests. The homepage guide form collects your name and email through Formspree and sends the request to Steve. This opens a browser download, not a mailing-list signup. Formspree also stores submissions in its dashboard under its own privacy policy.
- Free PDF downloads. The free PDFs download without a form. When you download one, this site sends Steve an anonymous notice through Formspree saying which file was downloaded and from which page. It contains no name, email or other personal details, and it is not sent if you turned analytics off.
- Site analytics (on by default, easy to turn off). Google Analytics measures which pages are useful and how visitors find the site. You can turn it off at any time. See Analytics and advertising cookies below.
- Company identification (on by default, easy to turn off). Leadfeeder uses your IP address to work out which company or organization a visit comes from. It turns off together with Google Analytics. See Analytics and advertising cookies below.
- Advertising pixel (only with your consent). If you choose “Allow ad pixel” under Manage cookie choices, this site loads Meta's advertising pixel. It stays off until you do. See Analytics and advertising cookies below.
How client project data is handled
If we work together, you may share business data (customer lists, sales exports, operational records) so we can build on it. The commitments below are contractual, not marketing:
- NDA first. We sign a non-disclosure agreement before we see a single row of your data.
- Structured handling. Where your data lives, who can touch it, and what it's used for is agreed in writing per engagement.
- Deleted on exit. If the engagement ends, your data is returned or destroyed at your direction, and we confirm it in writing.
What we never do
- Sell, rent, or trade your personal information or your business data. Ever.
- Add you to a drip sequence because you booked a call or downloaded the one-pager.
- Paste your confidential information into consumer AI tools that haven't been vetted for it.
Third parties we rely on
- Formspree processes homepage Starter Stack name and email requests and the anonymous download notices, and sends notifications to Steve. See Formspree's privacy policy.
- TidyCal handles call scheduling under its own privacy policy.
- HubSpot is our customer-relationship system for people we correspond or work with.
- Google provides Google Analytics, described below, under Google's own privacy policy.
- Dealfront provides Leadfeeder, described below, under Leadfeeder's privacy policy.
- Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram) provides the advertising pixel described below. It loads only if you allow it, under Meta's own data policy.
- Vetted AI and infrastructure providers are used inside client builds only under the commitments above, and we tell you which ones before your data touches them.
Analytics and advertising cookies
Google Analytics (on by default)
This site uses Google Analytics to see which pages are useful, how visitors find the site, and which buttons and forms get used (for example, clicking “Talk to Steve” or requesting a guide). It sets Google Analytics cookies so visits can be measured over time.
What it collects: pages you view, how you arrived (for example, a search engine or a link), approximate location such as city or region, device and browser type, and actions on this site. Google Analytics does not log or store full IP addresses. We do not send your name, email or form answers to Google Analytics.
What it is not used for: Google advertising. Google Signals and ad personalization are turned off, and advertising storage stays off.
How long it is kept: Google Analytics keeps visit-level data for 14 months, then deletes it. Summary reports with no visitor-level detail may be kept longer.
How to turn it off: choose “Turn off analytics” in the banner, or use the “Manage cookie choices” button below at any time. Your choice is saved in your browser and respected on every later visit until you change it or clear your browser data. You can also use Google's browser opt-out add-on.
Leadfeeder (on by default)
This site uses Leadfeeder, from Dealfront, to see which companies visit and which pages they read. Leadfeeder looks up the company or organization that owns the IP address a visit comes from.
What it collects: your IP address, the pages you view, how you arrived, and your browser type. It sets a cookie named _lfa that lasts one year, so return visits from the same browser are linked, and it reads the Google Analytics visitor ID on this site. We do not send your name, email or form answers to Leadfeeder.
What it is used for: knowing which companies are interested in Wallai's services, so I can follow up with a company where it makes sense. Not for advertising.
How to turn it off: “Turn off analytics” turns off Leadfeeder as well, deletes its cookie from your browser, and stops it loading on later visits.
Meta pixel (only with your consent)
With your consent, this site uses the Meta pixel (from Meta Platforms, the company behind Facebook and Instagram). When you allow it, it sets cookies and sends Meta information about your visit (which pages you view, and on the booking confirmation page, that you booked a call) so I can measure whether my ads work and reach people like you.
It is off by default. Nothing loads and no advertising cookies are set unless you choose “Allow ad pixel” under Manage cookie choices. Choosing “OK” or “Turn off analytics” keeps the pixel off. If you accepted the earlier version of the banner, the pixel stays on until you change your choice here.
Plausible Analytics
This site also uses Plausible Analytics, a privacy-first measurement tool. Plausible sets no cookies and stores no personal information. It counts page views, referral sources, and outbound link clicks in aggregate so I can see which pages are useful and where visitors come from. Details: Plausible's data policy.
Your choices
Ask us at any time what personal information we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Write to steve@wallai.ca and you'll get a personal reply, usually within a business day.
Changes
If this policy changes in any way that matters, the effective date above changes with it and material changes are flagged on this page.
